There's nothing like some home-cooked food from mum to soothe the soul. Which is exactly the concept behind the unique Mum's Place. The menu covers a range of comforting Halal Malaysian and local Portuguese-inspired cuisine served up in a simple 6 shop-lot boutique restaurant. Try the Portuguese chicken devil curry, fried cencaru fish with chilli padi paste (only for spice lovers!), fried otak-otak cubes served with Thai sauce and pan-fried tiger prawns with butter garlic. Oh and don't worry too much about your waist line they claim all their dishes are cooked with cholesterol-free palm oil.
