This is a bakery that uses only traditional Japanese techniques to create its freshly made breads and pastries, confiture, chocolate, cookies and cakes. Afternoon teas are a particular specialty while dine-in dishes are also available covering the usual soups, sandwiches, pastas as well as mains like peppercorn salmon, lamb chop curry and more. Interesting note: The Loaf is a business venture by Malaysia's ex prime minister, Tun Mahathir.
