Locally-inspired bar Nutmeg & Clove has reopened as part of The Establishment Group after closing temporarily for a revamp. Still tapping into historical elements for its cocktails, bar manager Leon Tan offers creations channeling the five different eras of Singapore's progress, with the Prohibition period taking centre-stage. Order up signatures like the Barrel Age SG Sling (gin, sandalwood infusion, orange liquor, DOM, cherry liquor, hibiscus, pineapple and hourse bitters) or the Nutmeg & Clove from the Metropolis era (vodka, nutmeg and cloves, kumquat liquor, lime, hawthorn dates and roselle), all priced at $22.
